Day 1: Arrival in Sankri (Drive from Dehradun, 210 km)
- Arrive at Dehradun in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive through Mussoorie, reaching the beautiful village of Sankri.
- Check into a guest house or homestay, rest, and acclimate to the altitude.
- Altitude: 6,400 feet
Day 2: Sankri to Seema (Trek via Taluka)
- Drive from Sankri to Taluka, where the trek begins.
- Trek through dense forests of pine, walnut, and chestnut, reaching the quaint village of Seema.
- Trek Distance: 12 km (5–6 hours)
- Overnight stay in tents or a local guest house at Seema.
- Altitude: 8,500 feet
Day 3: Seema to Rainbasera
- Cross rivers and forests as you ascend to Rainbasera. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
- Trek Distance: 10 km (4–5 hours)
- Overnight stay in tents at Rainbasera.
- Altitude: 10,500 feet
Day 4: Rainbasera to Ruinsara Tal
- Continue trekking through beautiful meadows and along the river, eventually reaching the picturesque Ruinsara Tal, a glacial lake surrounded by mountains.
- Take in the peaceful environment of this remote area.
- Trek Distance: 6 km (4–5 hours)
- Overnight stay in tents near Ruinsara Tal.
- Altitude: 11,800 feet
Day 5: Ruinsara Tal to Odari
- Trek from Ruinsara Tal to Odari, a rugged campsite near the base of Bali Pass.
- The trail becomes steeper, providing captivating views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and other peaks.
- Trek Distance: 5 km (4–5 hours)
- Overnight stay in tents at Odari.
- Altitude: 13,100 feet
Day 6: Odari to Bali Pass Summit and Descend to Lower Dhamni
- Start early for the Bali Pass summit. The steep ascent requires careful navigation as you reach the top.
- From the summit, enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.
- Begin the challenging descent towards Lower Dhamni.
- Trek Distance: 12 km (8–9 hours)
- Overnight stay in tents at Lower Dhamni.
- Altitude: 11,100 feet
Day 7: Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti (End of Trek)
- Begin the final descent from Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti, passing through dense forests and gradually returning to lower altitudes.
- Reach Janki Chatti, a popular pilgrimage town near Yamunotri.
- Trek Distance: 8 km (4–5 hours)
- Drive back to Dehradun from Janki Chatti or stay in Janki Chatti as needed.
Day 8: Return to Dehradun
- Early morning drive from Janki Chatti to Dehradun (6–7 hours).
- Expected arrival in Dehradun by evening.
