Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Sankri
  • Start from Dehradun early morning for a scenic drive to Sankri, a quaint village that serves as the base for many treks in Uttarakhand.
  • Pass through Mussoorie and enjoy views of the Yamuna River and pine forests along the way.
  • Check into a guesthouse or homestay in Sankri and relax for the evening.
  • Drive Distance: 200 km (8–10 hours)
  • Altitude: 6,400 feet
Day 2: Sankri to Sikolta
  • Begin the trek from Sankri with a gradual ascent through a forest trail filled with oak and pine trees.
  • Along the trail, spot a variety of Himalayan birds and enjoy mountain views as you reach Sikolta, the first campsite.
  • Trek Distance: 6 km (4–5 hours)
  • Overnight stay in tents at Sikolta.

Day 3: Sikolta to Bhoj Gadi
  • Trek from Sikolta to Bhoj Gadi, moving through picturesque meadows and thick forests.
  • The trail offers a panoramic view of snow-capped peaks in the distance and vibrant alpine flora.
  • Bhoj Gadi is an open camping area with great sunset views, especially over the surrounding peaks.

Day 4: Bhoj Gadi to Phulara Ridge and Pushtara
  • Begin an early ascent towards the Phulara Ridge, reaching the highlight of the trek.
  • The ridge walk provides a thrilling experience with 360-degree views of peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and Kedarkantha.
  • Descend gradually from the ridge to Pushtara, a lush, open meadow perfect for camping.

  • Altitude: 12,140 feet at Phulara Ridge; 10,500 feet at Pushtara
Day 5: Pushtara to Sankri
  • Begin the descent back to Sankri, passing through dense forests and small streams.
  • Reach Sankri by afternoon, where you can explore the local market or relax.
  • Trek Distance: 9 km (5–6 hours)
  • Overnight stay in a guesthouse or homestay in Sankri.
Day 6: Drive from Sankri to Dehradun
  • Drive back from Sankri to Dehradun, marking the end of the trek.
  • Drive Distance: 200 km (8–10 hours)
  • Expected arrival in Dehradun by late afternoon or early evening.
